This is a story for today, 2,500 years in the making…
The most important aspect of life is your spiritual condition and your attitude toward God. It is at the epicenter of all of your existence. It impacts your worldview and the moral system that guides your life decisions. It will shape the quality of your life.
This book is designed to help those who struggle with mindsets that are dangerous to their spiritual condition and their relationship with God. It will not only expose the corrupting attitude of disappointment with God, but will also provide some helpful ways to remain steadfast in your faith, love and devotion to the God who makes all things beautiful in His time.
The Israelites in Malachi’s day had forgotten this lesson. And the price they paid was severe. They have a lesson to teach us. A lesson that has been waiting 2,500 years for you to hear it.
Pastor Jerry Marshall is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, Trinity College and has attended Trinity Seminary in Deerfield Illinois. The original goal for his life was to become a professional musician.
Shortly after realizing his dream, he discovered that having “arrived” did not bring the joy or the fulfillment that he anticipated. Through a series of providentially-arranged circumstances, he came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Since that time, he has been passionate about knowing the Lord’s Word and teaching it accurately.
Jerry’s passion for assisting people to comprehend and apply God’s Word through the vehicle of expository teaching is best articulated in Nehemiah 8:8,
“They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was being read.”
Pastor Marshall has 26 years of ministry experience. Through these years, Cindy, his wife of 33 years has faithfully served beside him as his life partner and gifted participant to the overall ministry. Together they have three sons who are married and raising their own families.
Pastor Marshall is a gifted communicator who is dedicated to teaching God’s Word one verse at a time.
